About Therapy

If you're reading this

Chances are you’re feeling confused and overwhelmed… functioning in survival mode. It might feel a bit like you’ve been dropped in the middle of the jungle, left to navigate it alone, with no skills and no gear.

A thick canopy of trees blocks out the light. Vines hang everywhere. The dense overgrowth makes it hard to see where you’re stepping.

The jungle represents your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. They’re all chaotically entwined. And when you’re in the thick of it, clarity seems impossible to find.

Do you ever wonder

"Why do I do that?" or "Why am I like this?"

In therapy, you'll have a safe space to explore your past experiences, and with a gentle nudge when you're stuck, you'll start noticing the threads tying your thoughts and actions together.

With greater self-awareness

You’ll deepen your understanding of the brain, allowing you to create new, helpful thought patterns that will serve you for the rest of your life.

You’ll sharpen your awareness of the body and find the mindfulness practices that click for you, allowing you to calm your nervous system when you feel like you’re spiraling.

You’ll start to notice small signs of progress – signs of relief and insight. These patches of sunlight filtering through the canopy make the jungle less overwhelming. Soon, with tools to navigate it, you’ll feel you’ve got your power back!

And when that happens

With time and consistent effort, you’ll find a way into a clearing. You’ll have more freedom to think and breathe. You’ll have more space to be creative.

Ready to get started?

It all starts with your free consultation. Here’s how it works:

Step 1

Book your free 15-minute consultation and ask any questions you might have. If we’re a good fit, we’ll move on to step two.

Step 2

During your first 60-minute session, we’ll discuss what’s going on and some general housekeeping to determine the best way to move forward.

Step 3

We’ll meet regularly through online video sessions. The frequency and duration of therapy depend on your goals.

That’s all there is to it. You can do this! Contact me today, and we’ll get started!

About Me

The world of psychology has just always made sense to me. As a natural helper with an analytical mindset, my journey started with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

In high school, I got involved in social advocacy work, chairing a mentorship program for at-risk youth. This experience led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology before transitioning into a four-year master’s program. Skilled and motivated, I worked in community health before venturing into private practice.

I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals but I have a special connection with those dealing with anxiety, OCD, and stress. These conditions are very treatable, and they align with my approach. I firmly believe that nobody should have to continue struggling. With the right treatment, finding relief and living a happier life is possible.

Quick facts about me

Music is everything.

I love eating, but I hate cooking.

I speak fluent meme.

I’ve vowed never to play Monopoly again. It brings out the worst in me.

I cried a LOT watching A Bridge to Terabithia. Now, I stick to action movies.

I’m a natural teacher. My dad was a middle-school science teacher, and my grandfather was a superintendent.

I’m a recovering perfectionist.
